Job summary

Axcis Education in Sutton, South London, is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant for Midday Support, 11:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will supervise pupils during lunch and play, promoting social interaction and independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing; personal care may be required.

Experience with children or young people, especially in SEND settings, a patient, nurturing attitude, and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Axcis Education is recruiting a caring and dependable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Sutton, supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs over the lunchtime period. This rewarding role involves supervising and supporting pupils during lunch and playtimes, encouraging positive social interactions, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils. Personal care responsibilities are required.
