Job summary

Axcis Education in Carshalton is seeking a caring and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to provide lunch cover for pupils with SEMH, ASD and complex needs. The role offers flexible part-time hours in a supportive specialist setting and requires empathy with non-verbal pupils.

You will work during lunchtime with pupils, help with emotional regulation, social interaction and basic personal care where needed, while collaborating with teachers and the support team in a safeguarding-focused

SEND Lunch Cover – SEMH & ASD Carshalton, SM5 | 11:30am – 1:30pm Additional hours may be available

A specialist school in Carshalton is looking for a caring and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to provide lunch cover for pupils with SEMH, ASD and complex additional needs, including non‑verbal pupils. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for flexible part‑time work within a supportive specialist setting. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable, but personal experience as a parent or carer can also be valuable.
