Job summary

Axcis Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to provide daily supply and ad hoc cover within a specialist SEND school near Kidderminster. You will support pupils aged 4-19 with PMLD, Autism, and complex needs, helping learning, communication and personal development.

This temp role offers flexible hours, competitive daily pay, free CPD, and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant, with opportunities for longer-term placements in specialist SEND settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with additional needs.
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to provide personal care when required.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility to accept short-notice ad hoc bookings.

Pay: £92.63 per day Job Type: Daily Supply / Ad Hoc Start Date: Immediate Axcis Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to provide daily supply and ad hoc cover within a specialist SEND school near Kidderminster. This flexible role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in SEND education while working around their availability. The school supports pupils aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), Autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. Staff are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

• Willingness to provide personal care when required.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to accept short-notice and ad hoc bookings.
