Job summary

Dovelands Primary School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide maternity-cover support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role includes lunch duties and runs 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, starting January 2027.

The successful candidate will join a nurturing school environment focused on safeguarding and achieving pupil potential. Fixed-term for 12 months, from 4th January 2027 to 3rd January 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Ability to work within a school environment
• Willingness to undertake lunch duties and supervision responsibilities
