Job summary

Summit Learning Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide learning and care support for learners with SEND at Yarnfield Primary School. You will work under guidance to support high-quality learning, aiding transitions and behaviour management, and help raise attainment across the class.

The role suits candidates with a passion for inclusive education, safeguarding knowledge, and a proactive, collaborative approach within the team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent or higher to start.
• First aid qualification or willingness to obtain it.
• Willingness to undertake Level 3 qualification with support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with learners, families, and colleagues to support the Academy/Trust ethos.
• Support enhanced provision learners with SEND to increase achievement.
• Assist with monitoring, recording and reporting learner progress to support attainment.
• Support learners in the learning environment to promote independence, inclusion and equality of access.
• Support in delivering learning with high standards of behaviour and engagement.

Education

Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
