Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with Unity Multi-Academy Trust to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant in Warwickshire. The role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them build confidence and independence in an inclusive classroom environment.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support one-to-one or in small groups, and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing while following safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with personal care where required and appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and the school's policies.
