Tradewind Recruitment in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking caring, enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school team working with Unity MAT. This rewarding opportunity helps children with additional needs develop confidence, independence and learning skills.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist with learning and development, promote inclusion and support teachers while safeguarding pupils.

Tradewind Recruitment is working with an SEND Multi-Academy Trust (Unity MAT) to recruit caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school team in Stratford Upon Avon.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people with additional needs to develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Promoting positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
• Adapting activities and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Supporting pupils with personal care where required and appropriate.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Following safeguarding procedures and the school's policies at all times.
