Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Warwickshire / Coleshill is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND, working closely with teachers and specialists to foster an inclusive learning environment. You will help pupils reach their potential and contribute to a positive school culture.

The role involves one-to-one and small-group support, adapting activities, and promoting inclusion while following safeguarding procedures and school policies. Training and support are provided.

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting learners’ learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Promoting positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
• Adapting activities and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Supporting pupils with personal care where required.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Following safeguarding procedures and the school's policies at all times.
