Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join Unity Multi-Academy Trust in Warwickshire. The role supports pupils with SEND, working closely with teachers to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, assist with learning activities, monitor progress and help with safeguarding checks as required. Experience with SEND is desirable; training will be provided.

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with Unity Multi-Academy Trust (Unity MAT) to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Warwickshire.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people with additional needs to develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Promoting positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
• Adapting activities and resources to meet individual learning needs.

• Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable, but not essential if training and support are available).
