Job summary

Desian Education are partnering with a specialist academic SEN secondary school in Winsford to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis. You will support pupils with SEND, helping them access the National Curriculum and vocational pathways within a structured secondary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Familiar with KS3/KS4 National Curriculum and adapting resources.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions and support individual EHCP provisions.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS3 and KS4 with academic learning.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support as required.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet individual SEND needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions to reinforce classroom learning.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
• Work with teachers and the SEN team to implement EHCP provisions.
• Build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning.
