Job summary

Desian Education is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join the SEN cohort of a large mainstream primary school in the heart of the local community. Based in mixed EYFS and Key Stage 1 provision, you will support pupils with SEMH needs and cognitive difficulties, collaborating with class teachers to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Desian Education is seeking a motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join the SEN cohort of a large mainstream primary school at the heart of its local community. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. Your new role: Based within a mixed EYFS and Key Stage 1 provision, you will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and cognitive difficulties. Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider support team, you will help create a positive, structured environment where pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn. Your responsibilities will include:
