Job summary

Five Education Recruitment Limited in Gloucestershire is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND, including Autism and speech and language difficulties. The role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive to the school.

You'll provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support, adapt learning materials, support communication and emotional regulation, work with the SENDCo, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment throughout the day, including

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND, including Autism and ADHD.
• Calm, flexible and nurturing approach to complex needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support aligned to EHCP targets.
• Adapt learning materials and approaches for varied needs.
• Support development of communication, emotional regulation and independence.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and SENDCo to implement support strategies.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Supervise students during breaks and lunches.
