Job summary

Senploy is seeking a proactive SEND Teaching Assistant for daily supply across Newmarket and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and language needs, under the direction of class teachers and SENCOs.

Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable), an enhanced DBS, and a calm, patient, resilient approach. Salary is paid weekly via PAYE, with exclusive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in school or care settings.
• Understanding of EHCPs and strategies for supporting diverse needs.
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and communication.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND across a range of primary and secondary schools.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum.
• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in the classroom.
• Assist with personal care and mobility where required.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and assessments.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and pupil needs.
