Aspire People is recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with complex and additional needs across a range of school settings.

The role focuses on providing 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access the curriculum through personalised strategies and working with multidisciplinary teams to support communication, social skills and independence. Candidates with autism experience and a patient, adaptable approach are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Strong 1:1 support experience.
• Experience within a specialist school, SEND provision or similar environment.
• Confident supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Experience with autism and communication needs is highly desirable.
• Patient, consistent and adaptable approach.
• Able to work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates with genuine professional experience who are confident providing consistent 1:1 support and adapting their approach to meet individual pupil needs.

The Role:
