Job summary

Envision Education in Abbots Langley is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school. You will provide targeted classroom, 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, working closely with teachers to promote learning and development.

The role requires experience in a school or SEND setting and an enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain). You will contribute to a positive learning environment and help pupils stay engaged with lessons, with a focus on inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a school environment, preferably with SEND.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to commute to Abbots Langley or live locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Observe and monitor pupils' progress and share feedback with teachers.
• Encourage pupils in their learning and help complete classroom activities.
