Job summary

Envision Education in West London is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND across classes, working with teachers and the school team to meet individual needs.

The role involves providing classroom, 1:1 and small group support, observing progress, and giving constructive feedback to teachers and parents. A DBS check is preferred or willingness to obtain one, and you should be able to commute to Richmond upon Thames or live nearby.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SEND school setting.
• Experience working with children, with a reference to support it.
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to commute to Richmond upon Thames or live locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support for pupils including those with SEND.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to meet pupil needs.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents.
