Job summary

Envision Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Welwyn Garden City. You will provide 1:1 support and assist the class teacher to deliver a safe, inclusive learning environment from 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

Experience working with children in the UK and a willingness to obtain a Child and Adult DBS is required. Local residential proximity to Welwyn Garden City is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering support to SEND students.
• Previous work with children in the UK with reference available.
• Willingness to obtain DBS clearance (Child and Adult).

Responsibilities

• Aid teachers in creating a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment.
• Support SEND students one-to-one or in small groups.
• Assist with organizing and implementing educational activities inside and outside the classroom.
• Encourage and support children in their educational progress.
