Job summary

Mosaic Schools Learning Trust is seeking a part-time role to support a SEND pupil on a one-to-one basis in a primary setting. The successful candidate will work 15 hours weekly (3 hours daily, Monday to Friday) within a welcoming school environment.

You will help with learning, social interaction and welfare, guided by the class teacher and school policies. We value commitment, flexibility and a willingness to develop new skills, with DBS checks and safeguarding responsibilities as part of the

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children across the primary phase including those with additional needs.
  • Fully committed to the role of working with a child with additional needs on a one-to-one basis.
  • Skills to support learning, social interaction and welfare of individual pupils with a range of needs.
  • Motivated, flexible and eager to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hours may be worked with children on a one-to-one basis, with any child or group, as required by the Trust to meet needs of the Trust.
  • Support the class teacher to provide the best opportunities and outcomes for the child
  • Be collaborative and supportive to create a positive learning environment
  • Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards in daily activities and interactions.

BR5 SP 13-17; From £25,703 pa FTE (Actual £8,938.80 pa); 38 weeks per year

15 hours per week; 3 hours per day (Monday to Friday)
