About the role

Connex Education is working with a SEND Primary School in Stoke-on-Trent who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with special educational needs in a nurturing and supportive environment.

About the school

The school caters for pupils with a range of needs including Autism. All staff at the school aim to provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. They are looking for a TA who is hard-working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils’ education by supporting them.

Assignment Details

This role will commence immediately.

Person Specification

• Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs either in a School or a similar setting
• Be willing to provide personal care
• Be confident in working with challenging behavior
• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
