SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Levenshulme – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you want to make a real difference in the classroom and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive school environment?

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2025. This is a full-time position for the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

  • Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies and EHCP targets

  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress and well-being

  • Help create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment for all students

  • Promote independence, emotional regulation, and confidence in students with complex needs

  • Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full academic year (potential for permanent placement)

  • Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (based on experience)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm
