A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2025. This is a full-time position for the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies and EHCP targets
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress and well-being
Help create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment for all students
Promote independence, emotional regulation, and confidence in students with complex needs
Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full academic year (potential for permanent placement)
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
