SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support

Location: Telford, West Midlands

Type: Temporary, Permanent, Day-to-Day, Half Day's, Full Days

Rate: £90 - £130 per day

Start Date: Immediately

About the Role

Teacher Active is working with specialist schools and colleges across the UK, including Stoke-On-Trent and surrounding areas, seeking experienced and non-experienced SEND Teaching Assistants. These schools support students with challenging behaviour and/or special educational needs (SEND), requiring motivated individuals to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in and out of the classroom
• Assist with personal development and behaviour management in SEND settings
• Take responsible control of the classroom and engage pupils effectively

Requirements

• Previous experience with children and young adults with challenging behaviour
• Team player attitude with a positive, flexible approach
• Punctuality and organisation skills
• Experience within an SEND setting preferred
