This is a full-time, ongoing position starting ASAP, offering an excellent opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs and make a positive difference to their education and development.

Location: Nelson area, Lancashire

Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
Daily Rate: £85 £95 per day, depending on experience
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with a range of SEND
Support pupils to access learning and participate positively in lessons
Assist pupils with their social, emotional and communication development
Support students with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
Work closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to meet individual learning needs
Follow individual education plans and support personalised learning activities
Encourage positive behaviour, independence and engagement
Assist with classroom activities and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils' overall development
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant/SEND qualification, or have relevant experience
Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
Be confident providing one-to-one and small-group support
Have a patient, calm and positive approach
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to supporting the progress and wellbeing of all pupils
Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
Provide details of the 2 most recent references, covering the last 5 years' work history
Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of registration
Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy the required safeguarding and compliance checks
