Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Maidenhead. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting 7 September, supporting non-verbal pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a structured environment.

You will work with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to engage pupils, manage behaviours, and support independence while ensuring pupil dignity and wellbeing. DBS will be processed if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, especially ASD.
• Calibrated, resilient, proactive approach to supporting complex needs.
• Applied Behaviour Analyst qualification or ABA experience is highly desirable.

This full‑time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm) supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The school primarily serves non‑verbal pupils with complex learning and communication needs in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Compensation

£92.63 per day.
