We are currently seeking a caring, resilient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Maidenhead from 7th September. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a rewarding and highly supportive environment. The school provides education for pupils who are predominantly non-verbal and have a range of complex learning, communication and additional needs. Working alongside experienced teachers and a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop their communication and independence skills, and achieve their individual goals through consistent, tailored support. The successful candidate will be confident managing challenging behaviour and able to use calm, positive de‑escalation techniques to support pupils during difficult situations. Personal care is an essential part of the role, so applicants must be comfortable providing this support with compassion, respect and dignity. Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with ASD, is highly desirable. We are looking for someone with a patient, proactive and flexible approach who is committed to making a genuine difference. Candidates who are qualified Applied Behaviour Analysts or who have practical experience of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) are especially encouraged to apply. The role offers a daily rate of £92.63 and provides the opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that is committed to helping every pupil reach their full potential. If you are passionate about supporting children with autism and are looking for a fulfilling full-time role starting in September, we would love to hear from you. INDLON
