The college is continually striving to improve and innovate, and this is your chance to be part of that story.

The Role

We are looking for three dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work within the college's Maths, English, and ESOL departments. Based across the Waterfront and Pioneer centres, your primary focus will be supporting adult learners and apprentices with SEND to develop and improve their essential literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Collaborate across departments to champion a whole-college approach to SEND.

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a post-16 environment with learners who have additional learning needs.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly around a 38-week curriculum and classroom delivery times (shifts fall between 8:30am and 9:00pm).

  • Robust staff development, including a structured mentoring scheme.

  • Financial contributions toward external qualifications.

  • Skills development pathways for current and aspiring managers.
