Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Primary School in Ashton in Makerfield. This temporary, long-term role starts in September and covers KS1 and KS2. You will support SEND pupils, help deliver catch-up sessions and assist with lesson planning with the class teacher.

We welcome both new and experienced educators who value a caring school community. Flexible days and hours, plus APSCo-compliant safeguarding, are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

We're currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Ashton in Makerfield, WN4, to support SEND children across KS1 and KS2. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
