Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Alcester. The role is part-time and starts ASAP, continuing until December 2026. You will work in the Resource Base, supporting children with diverse needs and contributing to an inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable and proactive, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the class teacher and SEND team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Experience in a Resource Base or specialist provision would be beneficial.
• A patient, calm and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting up to 6 children within the Resource Base.
• Providing academic, social and emotional support throughout the school day.
• Supporting pupils to access learning and complete activities.
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team.
• Adapting support to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Following individual support plans and the school’s policies and procedures.

Flourish Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Alcester. This is a part-time role starting as soon as possible and continuing until December 2026.

The role will involve working within the school’s Resource Base, supporting children with a range of additional needs. The school is looking for a patient, adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Supporting up to 6 children within the Resource Base
