Job summary

Step Teachers seeks SEND teachers for long-term supply across Woodbridge and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND in mainstream and specialist settings, adapting lessons to EHCP targets and collaborating with SENCOs to ensure inclusive provision.

Role requires QTS or equivalent, experience with SEND, and DBS clearance. Salary is paid weekly via PAYE, with benefits including exclusive deals and wellbeing services through our pay portal.

SEND Teacher -Long-term supply across Woodbridge and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

• Collaborate with support staff and SENCOs to ensure effective provision
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Provide feedback and contribute to pupil progress reviews
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal SEND Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings
• Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a SEND Teacher
• Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
