Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a SEND Teacher for long-term supply across Oldham and surrounding areas. You’ll support pupils with a range of needs in mainstream and specialist provisions, helping to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has SEND experience, and can differentiate instruction. You’ll work across multiple schools, maintain safeguarding practices, and contribute to pupil progress reviews.

Ideal SEND Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings
• Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a SEND Teacher
• Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
