Job summary

First Class Supply is seeking SEND Teachers to support schools across South Tyneside. Roles are available on both short- and long-term contracts to start as soon as possible.

You will work with pupils who may have Autism, ADHD, or other SEND needs, and qualifications like Team Teach are advantageous. A DBS check and references are expected as part of the interview process.

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience.
  • Be able to work independently, using your initiative.
  • Take direction to adapt and meet the needs of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with SEND pupils in SEND and mainstream settings.
  • Take on short- and long-term teaching assignments.
  • Be flexible and start as soon as possible to support schools.

First Class Supply work with schools throughout South Tyneside who require SEND Teachers to work with SEND pupils. Roles are available on a short and long-term basis to start as soon as possible.

We would be interested in hearing from anyone that has experience of working with Autism, ADHD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Social, Emotional or Mental Health Needs or Sensory Needs.

We work with a number of settings including SEND and mainstream schools that require people with these specialist skills. We would also be interested in talking to anyone with qualifications such as Team Teach, Manual Handling or Medicine Administration.

Please note that the pay rate will depend of the level of experience and qualification achieved by the post holder.
