Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking a Secondary SEND Teacher for Sheffield schools with flexi working and long-term roles. You will join a specialist SEND team and deliver engaging lessons across multiple settings to support learners with diverse needs.

Applicants should hold QTS (Primary or Secondary) and have SEND experience or transferable skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and collaborative teamwork. Competitive daily rates and ongoing CPD via a dedicated consultant are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND settings or strong transferable experience.

The role

The requirements

To be considered for the position of SEND Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism
• Have previous experience within a SEND setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s and embrace each school’s unique ethos
• Have an enthusiasm for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
• Additional SEND training such as Team Teach, Mappa, Makaton, PECS, moving and handling is highly desirable
