Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEND Hub at a welcoming primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs and work closely with Teaching Assistants and the SENDCo.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has experience supporting pupils with SEND, and demonstrates a creative, adaptable teaching approach with strong SEND strategies to help every child achieve their learning goals.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS.
• Experience with SEND, ideally in a specialist provision or SEND Hub.
• A creative, adaptable teaching approach with SEND focus.
• Strong understanding of SEND strategies and differentiated learning.
• Proactive team player who is passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
• Work within a specialist SEND Hub supporting children with SEND.
• Adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENDCo and school team.
• Create a nurturing, structured and inclusive learning environment.
