Job summary

Churchwood Primary School is seeking a passionate SEND teacher to join our Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP). You will work closely with our SENDCo, experienced SEND teachers and TAs to deliver bespoke learning for pupils with ASC and related needs.

We welcome applicants with SEND experience, including Early Career Teachers. The role offers flexible part-time or full-time arrangements, with strong support from The Pioneer Academy Trust and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in SEND settings with autism-focused strategies
• Evidence of collaboration with SENDCo, SEND teachers and TAs
• Experience planning personalised learning for ASC and related needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons within the Enhanced Learning Provision
• Collaborate with SENDCo and SEND team to support learners
• Adapt lessons to sensory needs and autism-related needs
• Contribute to reintegration into mainstream where appropriate
