Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a specialist SEND school based in Chatham to recruit a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapting content to meet individual needs and support pupils’ academic and personal development.

Key requirements include QTS and experience with SEND/Autism, plus strong classroom management and a patient, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or qualified teacher status.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, specifically Autism/ASD.
• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Patient and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to supporting pupils’ learning and development.
