Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated SEND teacher for South Park Enterprise College in the UK. The role focuses on planning and delivering personalised learning for pupils with complex needs, while upholding safeguarding and EPIC values.

The successful candidate will lead a Teaching Assistant team, collaborate with families and professionals, and promote high expectations to challenge every pupil. QTS/QTLS is required and there are enhanced pension and staff benefits.

Job description

To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will model professional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment. At South Park Enterprise College South Park Enterprise College is an independent SEMH specialist school for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD. We provide a safe nurturing environment for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or face exclusion. Requirements

  • The role focuses on planning and delivering personalised learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of pupils with communication differences, sensory processing needs, and complex and severe learning needs
  • Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
  • collaborative working with families and professionals to support children's progress
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Lead a team and provide clear guidance to Teaching Assistants
  • Help to disseminate good practice across the school. A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • QTS/QTLS is requirement
  • Salary: £28,288 - £44,304 | Full Time (40 hours/week), Nest enhanced pension scheme
