Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to support pupils with additional needs in Hull. Roles are long-term temporary supply across SEND settings, with on-site positions and flexible patterns to suit availability.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have strong behaviour management, and experience with Autism/ASD, SEMH, or ADHD. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential to thrive in this supportive environment.

We are looking for dedicated SEND Teachers to work on a long-term temporary supply basis across a variety of SEND settings in Hull, with the opportunity to become a permanent role in the future. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting students across different Key Stages with needs including Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties. Opportunities are available on both short-term and long-term assignments, with flexible working patterns to suit your availability.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience supporting students with Autism / ASD, SEMH or ADHD
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
