Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking SEND teachers for supply work across specialist SEND schools in Mansfield. You will deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to each pupil’s needs and adapt to cover single days or longer placements, maintaining routines and a positive learning environment.

The role emphasizes flexible opportunities, support from a dedicated consultant, and access to CPD through My-Progression, with competitive weekly PAYE pay and opportunities to broaden SEND experience.

Qualifications

• QTS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND.
• Strong adaptive teaching and classroom management skills.
• Patient, empathetic and flexible approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

Your role will include:

• Delivering lessons adapted to pupils’ abilities and learning needs.
