Job summary

Danecourt School is seeking a SEND Teacher to join our specialist team. You will lead a small class of pupils with autism, communication needs and sensory challenges, delivering personalised learning that supports academic, social and emotional growth.

We value collaboration with support staff and families, plus continued CPD and clear career pathways within the Maritime Academy Trust. The role includes a generous wellbeing package and opportunities to develop SEND best practice.

As a SEND teacher at Danecourt, you will lead a small class of pupils with a range of needs including autism, communication difficulties, and sensory processing disorders. You will have the opportunity to make a life-changing impact every single day by:

Who You Are

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate SEND Teacher who is:

• Experienced and Qualified:
  You hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND, ideally with experience in a specialist or mainstream SEN setting.

• Creative and Flexible:
  You adapt quickly, bring energy and new ideas to the classroom, and approach each day with a solution-focused mindset.

• A Strong Communicator:
  You build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
