Keys Education is seeking a dedicated teacher to plan and deliver inclusive lessons for pupils with complex needs and SEMH at Heckington House School. Classes are small, with 4 students to 2 adults, enabling a trauma-led approach to pastoral support and learning progress.
You will plan lessons, prepare resources, manage behaviour, and write reports, while collaborating with staff to support each pupil’s development and readiness for the next steps.
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The Teacher will modelprofessional integrity and the EPIC values, work collaboratively within the school community, and adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct to promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment. At Heckington House School We offer specialist provision for students with SEMH and those who have found mainstream education difficult. Our facilities include small, nurturing classrooms fully equipped with smart boards to facilitate learning. We provide vocational subjects such as Hair and Beauty and Construction alongside traditional curriculum areas. Our class sizes are based on a model of 4 students to 2 adults enabling us to provide a trauma led approach to both pastoral support and educational progress.
