Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Cirencester is seeking a SEND Teacher to support Early Years pupils with SLD and PMLD on a full-time, long-term basis. The role is based on-site in GL7 1JR and requires QTS with experience in SEN.

You will plan and deliver a creative curriculum tailored to individual needs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil can build confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• QTS and passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Experience with children with SLD or PMLD.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The school places a strong emphasis on creating meaningful learning experiences, celebrating progress and ensuring every pupil feels supported and valued.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Teacher will work within Early Years, planning and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum while adapting learning to meet the individual needs of pupils with SLD and PMLD.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with children and young people with additional needs
• Experience supporting pupils with SLD and/or PMLD
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• A patient, resilient and supportive approach
