AMA Admin is seeking a SEND Teacher with QTS for a specialist SEND school in Bury, BL9 6ER. Competitive daily pay of £170 - £220 and full-time, term-time only hours. Start ASAP / September.

You will plan differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND, support autism, ADHD and other needs, adapt teaching to EHCP outcomes, and work closely with Teaching Assistants to create a safe, inclusive learning environment. A patient, resilient approach and excellent communication are essential.

Are you a passionate QTS-qualified teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with SEND?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher with QTS to join a specialist SEND school in Bury, BL9 6ER, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a QTS-qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education, personalised learning and positive behaviour support.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEND needs.

  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, communication needs, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges.

  • Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils through a calm and nurturing approach.

  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence.

  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff.

  • Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals.

  • Contribute to individual education, behaviour and support plans.

We're Looking For a SEND Teacher Who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has experience working with, or a strong interest in supporting, SEND pupils.

  • Understands differentiation, personalised learning and positive behaviour support.

  • Is patient, resilient and confident supporting pupils with complex needs.

  • Can build strong and trusting relationships with children and young people.

  • Has excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

  • Is adaptable and responsive to individual pupil needs.

  • Has a genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Previous SEND or specialist school experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from QTS-qualified teachers with experience in mainstream, SEND, SEMH or other specialist educational settings.
