Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEND Teacher for an outstanding specialist school in Bury, Greater Manchester. You will deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to students aged 11-19 across five bespoke learning pathways, ensuring inclusion and high expectations for every learner.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £750 - £1,250 per week
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Full-time

About the Role

As a SEND Teacher, you'll deliver high quality, personalised teaching within a structured, nurturing environment that enables students with complex needs to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll work within one of five specialist pathways - Inspire, Explore, Nurture, Discover, or Thrive - each with its own bespoke curriculum and learning approach. This is a role for a teacher who understands that progress looks different for every student, and who has the creativity and resilience to meet them where they are.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - experience in a SEND or specialist school setting is highly desirable
• A deep commitment to inclusive, needs-led teaching and personalised learning
• Patient, creative, and resilient with high expectations for every student
• Confident working across a range of complex need profiles and learning styles
• Strong collaborative skills - comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team

To Be Eligible You Must

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide two professional references from child-related roles
