Milk Education is hiring a SEND Teacher in Bury for a full-time, term-time only role. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND, collaborating with support staff to meet EHCP outcomes in a specialist setting.

Are you a passionate QTS-qualified teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with SEND?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher with QTS to join a specialist SEND school in Bury, BL9 6ER, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QTS-qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education, personalised learning and positive behaviour support.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEND needs.
Support pupils with autism, ADHD, communication needs, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges.
Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils through a calm and nurturing approach.
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff.
Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals.
Contribute to individual education, behaviour and support plans.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience working with, or a strong interest in supporting, SEND pupils.
Understands differentiation, personalised learning and positive behaviour support.
Is patient, resilient and confident supporting pupils with complex needs.
Can build strong and trusting relationships with children and young people.
Has excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
Is adaptable and responsive to individual pupil needs.
Has a genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Previous SEND or specialist school experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from QTS-qualified teachers with experience in mainstream, SEND, SEMH or other specialist educational settings.
Competitive daily pay of £170 – £220.
Full-time, term-time only working hours.
