Job summary

Liverpool Progressive School, part of Keys Education, is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in Liverpool. You’ll work under teachers to deliver curriculum-based learning, manage behaviours, and promote pupil wellbeing.

Ideal candidates have a passion for SEND, at least two years’ SEND experience, and a Level 3 TA qualification is advantageous. This role is based at Rice Lane, Liverpool, with opportunities for funded training and progression.

Qualifications

• A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
• At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
• A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support learners with curriculum-based learning in class, home tuition and outreach.
• Prepare learning materials and help deliver objectives with focus on behaviour management.
• Provide daily progress reports on learners and barriers to learning.
• Regularly communicate with parents and carers.
