Job summary

Monarch Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Nuneaton recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the team. The role focuses on supporting pupils from Early Years through to Year 6 with EHCP targets and a personalised curriculum.

Ideal candidates will have SEND or complex needs experience, a calm and reliable approach, and be able to support EYFS–KS2 pupils, including personal care if required. This is a long-term, full-time position based in the UK.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Able to support younger pupils (EYFS - KS2).
• Comfortable supporting personal care if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Helping deliver individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
• Supporting pupils with communication and engagement.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Assisting with daily routines and sensory needs.
• Supporting personal care where required.
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff.

Monarch Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Nuneaton who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school supports children from Early Years through to Year 6, all of whom have an EHCP. Staff focus on delivering a broad, balanced and personalised curriculum that meets the individual needs of every pupil in a supportive and nurturing environment.

About the pupils

• Moderate to profound learning difficulties
• Autism (ASC)

• Physical disabilities

• Medical needs
• Communication difficulties

The Role:
