This is a full-time, long-term position working with children and young people with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, sensory processing difficulties, and complex medical needs. Many pupils may be working significantly below age-related expectations and require highly personalized support to access learning and everyday activities.
You will work closely with class teachers and wider support staff to deliver engaging learning opportunities, promote independence, and support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development. The role may involve supporting pupils with personal care, moving and handling, sensory activities, communication strategies, and medical needs where required.
