Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting SEND Support Staff for a mainstream school in Mansfield, with a long-term contract and the potential to become permanent. You will support pupils with SEND, helping them access learning and stay engaged throughout the day.

Ideal candidates will have experience supporting children with SEND, strong communication, and a patient, reliable approach. Salary is £95 - £110 per day, paid via PAYE, with market-leading rates and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Confidence supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, dedicated and hardworking approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

The school is looking to appoint SEND Support Staff on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent. The successful SEND Support Staff member will support pupils with SEND across the school, helping them access learning, develop independence and remain engaged throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Support Staff will have:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Confidence supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, dedicated and hardworking approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
