Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Newcastle is seeking committed Behaviour Mentors/support assistants to provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural challenges in Newcastle secondary schools.

You will work with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver structured interventions that promote emotional regulation, engagement and positive behaviour. Role starts November 2026 in Newcastle.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs
• Experience in UK Schools or Educational Settings
• Level 3+ in relevant qualification
• Confidence in delivering structured behavioural support
• Calm, patient and professional under pressure
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs

This role involves working closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver structured interventions that promote emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour.

You need:
