Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking committed Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with behavioural needs in Newcastle secondary schools. You will deliver targeted, structured interventions and work with SENCo and staff to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

The role offers a competitive daily rate, weekly PAYE payments and access to CPD including safeguarding and behaviour management, with opportunities for short-term or permanent placements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
• Confidence in delivering structured behavioural support.
• Calm, patient and professional under pressure.
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering short term behaviour interventions to identified pupils.
• Providing consistent 1:1 and small group support.
• Assisting pupils in developing positive behaviour strategies.
• Working collaboratively with SEN and pastoral teams.
• Following whole school behaviour and safeguarding protocols.
