Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking committed and resilient Behaviour Mentors/support assistants to provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural challenges in Newcastle secondary schools.

You will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver structured interventions that promote emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour. You will deliver short term interventions, provide consistent 1:1 and small group support, and collaborate with SEN and pastoral teams while

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
• Experience in UK Schools or Educational Settings.
• Level 3+ in relevant qualification.
• Calm, patient and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Delivering short term behaviour interventions to identified pupils.
• Providing consistent 1:1 and small group support.
• Assisting pupils in developing positive behaviour strategies.
• Working collaboratively with SEN and pastoral teams.
• Following whole school behaviour and safeguarding protocols.
